The company that makes Hellmann’s mayonnaise want you to try mixing it into your eggnog this year. They claim it works better than egg yolks.

A bar in New York decided to try it out, and is selling a blended version called “Frozen Mayo-Nog”. If you’d like to give it a whirl at home, they’ve shared the recipe! (Scroll to the bottom for a non-alcoholic version!)

FROZEN MAYO-NOG (makes 3 servings)

1/4th cup Hellmann’s Real Mayonnaise
3 ounces Whole Milk
3 ounces Heavy Cream
3 ounces Simple Syrup
1?2 tsp Nutmeg, grated
1?2 tsp Vanilla Extract
1 tsp Cinnamon, powder
1 1/2 ounces Rum
1 1/2 ounces Apple Brandy
1 1/2 ounces Cognac
1 cup Ice

Method: Add all ingredients into a blender with ice and blend until smooth. Garnish with a dusting of cinnamon.

NON-ALCOHOLIC FROZEN MAYO-NOG
Replace Rum, Cognac and Brandy with 3 1?2 oz of Spiced Chai Tea

Method: Brew tea and let cool. Add all ingredients into a blender with ice and blend until smooth. Garnish with a dusting of cinnamon.
